Yes, didn't you hear? Google is now closed Friday, Saturday, & Sunday!
There is also a rumor that the internet will be closed on weekends starting
in May!

Re: DVD Decoder

You can expect friendly and informative help, while using this
newsgroup. In keeping with their own attitude towards their customers,
Microsoft's arrogance rubs off on their fan boys. The slime spreads and
consumes them until they are mindless minions of the borg. I wish that I
could help you, but I opted out of the beta testing for Vista.

Re: DVD Decoder

Perhaps you should ask Help. Start Media Player, Help menu. Type decoder

Actually don't bother - The answer is there but with no clear path to it. If
you had clicked the Web Help button in the dialog that tells you no decoder,
or if you were desperate to read inane things in help randomly untill you
come across this you would be taken here

http://www.wmplugins.com/ItemList.aspx?typeid=8

And the page for DVDs is (well it's a search)
http://www.wmplugins.com/SearchResults.aspx?keyword=dvd

DVD codec have royalities on each one sold. Therefore someone must pay the
fee. Most suppliers are not going to pay it for you. Therefore free ones are
unlikely.
