| | Is it allowed to install 32bit and 64bit ? Is it allowed to install on a PC 32bit and 64bit version of VISTA using a CD Key which comes with a retail box? I will not be able to use these two OSs concurrently and will be using 32bit version but want to periodically check to see if all apps I want to use become compatible with the 64bit version. |

| | Re: Is it allowed to install 32bit and 64bit ? you cannot have them both installed at the same time, even if your intention was to only use one at a time... stupid huh? Thats MS for ya! Of course thats what the EULA says... but now that vista phones home whenever it likes, I dont know what will happen if you ignore the EULA. | | Re: Is it allowed to install 32bit and 64bit ? Hi, No, your Product Key allows to install one or the other, but not both simultaneously, even if you are only using one of them at any given moment. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "churin" <churin@new.postalias> wrote in message news:O0mlJh$cHHA.4388@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > Is it allowed to install on a PC 32bit and 64bit version of VISTA using a > CD Key which comes with a retail box? I wanted to make sure that I could use Office 2003 and Office 2007 and wanted to use both the 64 bit and 32 bit systems. I also can boot to XP 32 and 64. I used separate disk drives for each system. |
