| | Plug in second hard drive? I have an attachment that allows me to plug another hard drive into the USB port. If If I do this with my old laptop hard drive, which has XP, will my new computer with VISTA read it and/or make a dual boot for it? Or will it try to make me reformat the old hard drive? I have old programs that won't run with VISTA, & thought this would be a good solution. -- jeanniebee |

| | Re: Plug in second hard drive? See my response to the other thread that you posted this same question in. By the by, for new questions you should create a new thread, not tag into an old one. Doing so will make it more likely that someone will read and respond to it. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "jeanniebee" <jeanniebee@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:9B5DF1E3-6C58-4E77-856D-8A514CF79EEB@microsoft.com... >I have an attachment that allows me to plug another hard drive into the USB > port. | | Re: Plug in second hard drive? thanks. I'm new to this site & couldn't find the prompt to post a new question at first, so tagged on to the other until I figured it out. -- jeanniebee "Rick Rogers" wrote: > See my response to the other thread that you posted this same question in. > > By the by, for new questions you should create a new thread, not tag into an > old one.
