Vista - Windows could not search for new updates Error found: Code 802400

Windows Vista 5384 automatically updates, but when I try to update manually,
I get the message above.
Trying to update Windows Defender manually, a pup up comes with ''Windows
Defender was unable to complete the update: 0x80240018. The program issued a
command but the command length is incorrect'' message.
But it can be updated automatically.

Could anyone make a comment?

This could be a result of a time out session on the Server, I recommend you
try again later.
