Save As Window Settings

Hi all,

Everytime I open the Save As window from various applications such as Word,
Illustrator, etc. I am trying to set the width of columns to be "Size all
Columns to Width" this is what happens when you right click on the column
header. For some reason everytime I open the window I have to do this all
over again. Is there a way to get this to stay as my default setting?

RE: Save As Window Settings

yes, I would like to be able to have this happen too.
It is irritating to have such a variety in the way that pop-up windows
appear when doing a "save as" or when adding an attachment to an email.
Surely, there must be some way of setting these windows in a uniform way - in
terms of the size of the window, the position of the window, the default
directory, default columns displayed and order of the files displayed....
Hoping someone will know!!
Thanks
