no privileges

Hi

My laptop has Windows Vista Home Premium, and my username has Administrator
privileges to Windows.

I'm trying to install an HP Analog TV Tuner card. So, I insert the setup
CD, and a window pops up - saying:

You do not have sufficient security privileges to install hardware on this
computer. Contact your site administrator or key in administrator's
username and password and run as an administrator.

I checked Control Panel, and my username is having Administrator. What am I
missing ?

Thanks
Steve

Right-click on your CD drive.
Click "Open"
Find the .exe that is the setup program.
Right-click on it, and choose "Run as Administrator"

Re: no privileges

I suggest you read up on User Account Control. It can be confusing at first.
