Unable to Play a Game in Standard USer Role

The game installed and ran fine under my admin account, but when my son
tries to run it under his standard account it says he does not have
permissions. I have allowed the game in the Parental Control and have
checked as many permissions settings as I know but it says he does not have
permission to run the file. Anyone know what I am missing here? Forgive the
cross posting but not getting an answer on the GAMES forum.

TIA

Hi,

Right click the program's installation folder, choose properties. On the
security tab you are going to need to edit permissions and give your son's
user account, or account group, read and execute permissions on that folder
and all subcontainers.

Re: Unable to Play a Game in Standard USer Role

I did that off of the icon, but you are saying that I have to do it on the
entire game folder correct? Did not think of that.

Thanks

Re: Unable to Play a Game in Standard USer Role

Hi,

Yes, it's the game folder itself that needs to be addressed.
