| | Turn off Aero for a particular program Is is possible to turn off the wide border for a particular program which is a 16-bit program? I've tried the different compatibility modes, etc., no luck. The problem it causes is it takes away some of the window real estate, in particular, the button bar area, in the program. The program works fine if I turn off Aero for all programs. -- The Software Tailor Las Vegas USA |

| | Re: Turn off Aero for a particular program Thanks for responding. I don't know exactly what "Disable visual themes" does or is supposed to do, but it doesn't have any effect on the wide border problem that Aero does to this program. -- The Software Tailor Las Vegas USA "kirk jim" wrote: > right click on its icon , or exe and go to properties and compatibility, > there you will find an option to disable themes (or something like that) > > > "Bob Campbell" <SoftwareTailor@msn.com> wrote in message > news:EC08E0AF-9E69-4B2E-8A08-99D5C1E5A30B@microsoft.com... > > Is is possible to turn off the wide border for a particular program which > > is > > a 16-bit program?
