Problems with Office 2007 and Vista Ultimate x64

    Hi!

I've installed Office 2007 Enterprise on my Vista x64 system, but when I'm
starting any of the Office apps, Office runs a setup/configuration prog
(Office is collecting/gathering setup information or something like that).
It seems that Office can not save the settings? I've seen this before when a
new user runs Office 2002/2003 for the first time on XP in a multiuser
environment, but only the first time, then Office saves the necessary
settings. And when I'm starting Excel, the following (error) message
    appears: "stdole32.tlb".

I can't remember the exact messages, because I'm sitting on another computer
    right now.

I've installed Office 2007 on Vista x86, it works fine.

    Any solutions?

    (Sorry for my bad English)

    TIA

And you have tried Repairing the installation, uninstalling/reinstalling the
suite? Did you install under an account with Administrative priviledges?

Yes, I've tried to install with "Run as administrator", but I have not tried
to repair. Maybe I should enable the Administrator account, and then install
    again?
