Screen goes blank when I start vista media centre

I have installed Vista Home Premium Edition. Graphics are working fine
(vista basic standard until I upgrade my current NVIDIA 6200 Turbocache). I
am running 2GB RAM and Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz.

When I start Media Centre the display goes blank (but I still here the
sounds). What's going wrong?

Should I try re-installing Vista?

Thanks

Have you installed the latest drivers for your video card available from
nvidia?

Yes, installed the latest driver and even tried the new beta driver. Do you
think it is a graphics card problem or a windows bug?

Thanks

Re: Screen goes blank when I start vista media centre

You could try removing one of the memory modules if they are 1 GB sticks and
see if it stops. If it does, sounds like a bad memory module.

RE: Screen goes blank when I start vista media centre

It is a graphics problem. Nvidia is having a lot of hassles with drivers.
