| | Vista Won't Remember Folder Views Hello, I looked for a search option for previous posts but didn't find one. No matter what I do in folder options Vista Ultimate will not remember the folder views but defaults to -Date Taken, Tags, Rating, etc..-. Does anyone know of a fix for this? -- dbronco ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dbronco's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=24337 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=720642 http://forums.techarena.in |

| | Re: Vista Won't Remember Folder Views Sounds like Vista is sniffing the content as pictures & applying the 'Pictures' template. Do the folders in question contain jpegs or similar files? Have you used the 'Customize this folder' option & changed the template to 'All Items'? Does that stick? -- Good Luck, Keith Microsoft MVP [Windows XP Shell/User] "dbronco" <dbronco.2ommfc@DoNotSpam.com> wrote in message news:dbronco.2ommfc@DoNotSpam.com... > > Hello, > I looked for a search option for previous posts but didn't find one. I completely over looked the "apply to all folders" button and now they all are behaving the way I want them to (so far) after clicking it.
