mouse cursor creeps

whenever I click on something my mouse cursor likes to creep of to the side
of the screen, I checked all the setting for the mouse in control panel but
I don't see anything wrong. thanks Jim

Re: mouse cursor creeps

I am using my telepathic powers:

Your mouse is an optical one (with a light on the bottom)
and there is a piece of dirt or hair where the light is, causing it to
creep.

Re: mouse cursor creeps

Use a can of compressed air to blow out the sensor area on the bottom of the
mouse.
