| | IE on Vista will not work Hello, My Internet Explorer won't pick up any websites. I know my network is fine because I can get on messenger. I've tried disabling ad-ons and resetting explorer, but I still get nothing. Any ideas on how I can get around this? Thanks, Jag |

| | Re: IE on Vista will not work Yes, I deleted all of my temp files and browsing history as well as forms. As for the error message, I believe it simply says "Cannot load page" and gives me options to check my network (I'll double check when I go home). The message just reappears for any address I type in. The weirdest part is, when I sign into messenger, an explorer mini window showing the news and my new emails pops up. When I click on any links on this window, it opens my browser and I get "Cannot load page" message again. Also, be sure to check in control panel to be sure the Windows Firewall is turned off assuming you have a separate firewall. In other words, all firewalls turned off and check to see if your router has a firewall that might be blocking access. -- Michael Solomon |
