Can't start/stop services on Vista - Access Denied

I'm logged on as the system administrator and I can't start/stop services on
my system.

This is also causing complications when I install an application that must
update registries and start services.

Hoe can I get around this?

Re: Can't start/stop services on Vista - Access Denied

Hi,

When you run services.msc, right click the file and use 'run as
administrator'. Even though your account is an admin level one, you are not
running with elevated privileges.
