vista anytime upgrade

Question,
I am running vista beta rc1. Is it possible to upgrade to a retail version
of vista using the anytime upgrade?

Thanks

Joe

Re: vista anytime upgrade

Hi Joe,

No, as the RC versions are not qualifying products for upgrades. To upgrade
to the release product you'd need a full version of Vista Ultimate (the RC
keys were all Ultimate keys, and downgrades to versions of less
functionality are not supported). Anytime Upgrade can only be used to
upgrade the version of an already installed release (RTM) version.
