Vista - Vista Failure to Launch Office 2007

So..Office 2007 apps do not launch from the pinned start menu. I can copy
the link to the desktop and launch from there, but they simply will not
launch directly from the start menu. I can also execute them from the MS
Office folder.

There seems to be a few people with this issue - but I have not seen a
explanation or fix out there.

Any ideas?

Have you tried performing a repair from inside of an office application?

Odd. Do you experience this problem *only* with Office 2007 shortcuts
pinned in the Start Menu, and no others?
