Vista - Keyboard shortcut for launching snipping tool

Is there any keybord shortcut for launching the vista snipping tool with free
form snip as default?

Sure is.

Go to the shortcut for the snipping tool. Right click and go to properties.
Give it any short that is not used by the Windows operating system. I gave
it Ctrl | Alt | S.

The first time you run the tool you will be asked if you want to place a
shortcut in the Quick Launch Bar also.

For some reason when clicking on the Snip Tool there is a message. Snip Tool
not working, please re-boot your computer. Is there a fix?
