| | Accessing/Moving Programs from Windows.old? I have a bit of a problem. I have re-installed most all of my programs back onto my computer after installing Vista. With the exception of my MS Frontpage program. The CD gets half way thru' the installation and informs me that the file is corrupt. It will not install I upgraded to Vistausing the 'clean install' without formatting or upgrading onto the current partition. Vista has created a Windows.old file. I found the Frontpage application (in the old Office10 file in the windows.old) I click on the application it begins to open. Asks me if I want to set it to be my default html application. I click yes than it says 'Microsoft FrontPage has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install application.' Is there a way I can't get my Frontpage program to run/install from the windows.old file since the CD is damaged? I don't want to have to purchase the program when I have it already. Any ideas? |

| | RE: Accessing/Moving Programs from Windows.old? you can do this at your own risk but since you probaly have a cd key you could just try a torrent site, but again do this at your own risk. i have gotten old programs this way with no problems.
