| | Mouse problem Greetings, Did anyone have difficulty with Windows Vista Ultimate noticing your USB mouse? I've tried two USB optical mice and the plug-n-play is not even noticing the USB device. The USB port is functional because I've tried each port with my jumpdrive. Any ideas? Thanks, Bobby |

| | RE: Mouse problem Boobay: I had the same problem with my Systemax laptop. There was a reply here from HP that said to get rid of the legacy mouse stuff in your BIOS. I think that worked as well as uninstalling unknown devices from the control panel. My lap top finger pointer mouse works well but the USB mouse sometimes jumps unexplicably. I used to have complete chaos; at least now, it is somewhat controlled chaos. It is rather pathetic that Vista can't handle a USB mouse that well. Hope this helps.
