Vista - error message 0x80070015

I get this error message when trying to create a recover cd. Any suggestion.

Create a recovery CD for what using what program? This is not a native
Vista function. Is this a recovery CD for an OEM installed Vista system?
If that's the case that is a process set up by the OEM, so contact the
computer's tech support for help.

Equates to the Win32 error "The device is not ready".

thanks for replying, I have a sony computer and the function came with it, I am new to vista, and frankly quite dissapointed on its performance, too many errors. I still do not know how to fix this problem.

Contact Sony tech support. That is a function installed by them, it's not
native to Vista. If you are not happy with the computer return it. A new
computer should be running well with no errors. Frankly I wouldn't
recommend the Sony laptops.
