Vista - RDP + Vista calendar error

Using a vista cleint with RDP and connecting to a server using outlook 2003
we encounter an error when using calendaing
"the messaging interface has retunred an unknow error" This does not happen
on XP or any other client and does not occur when using vista within the
domain. This error occurs using both outlook 2003 & 2007. Bottom line this
prevents useers from setting or editing calendar using RDP on Vista.

We have repaired, reinstalled, changed clients and laptops, using both 2003
nad 2007 outlook. We even created new profiles and it fails when we combine
vista with RDP using outlook w/exchange server.

one other minor error again with all the above circumstances, is if a user
receives an email with a hyperlink it will not resolve, if we detect and
repair (outlook 2003 or 2007) it will work one time then fail again, this
also will allow RDP to work in calendaring but again only one time.

Hi Mike,

I can't really help you but I can tell you that we use the same setup (Vista
client, RDP to a W2K3 server with Outlook 2003 connecting to Exchange 2003)
and we have no problems.
