| | Re: Disable UAC I've had UAC disabled since day one. The ONLY thing I've EVER seen not work is installing a printer driver for a network printer - Vista gives some spurious message about a server not running or similar. All I did in that case was enable UAC reboot, install the printer driver, then disable UAC and reboot. Yesterday I installed Vista on a laptop. First thing I did, even before activation, was disable UAC.
