Re: Firefox constantly crashes on Vista

Thank you for the information, Fermanagh. I appreciate it.

A bug was filed with the right team. I hope that the number of crashes and
incorrect error solutions that you receive decreases as a result.

Thanks again.

Re: Firefox constantly crashes on Vista

I have used FF uneventfully for years, but when I installed it on my
Vista OS laptop, it constantly freezes or crashes. I believe, tongue in
cheek, that MS does not care for a performance browser other than the
archaic IE. However, here is my log from one of the many crashes. I
first started out with no addons or extensions, now I have many and it
still crashes several times per day with Vista.

Re: Firefox constantly crashes on Vista

Is the Java Runtime Environment installed to your system? Which version, if
so? Is jpinscp.dll on your system? What file version, if so?

I see that the latest version should be available here--
http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_manual.jsp
, but I could be wrong, I don't see it as being noted as compatible with
Vista, and this is not my field of expertise. Firefox forums would probably
be a better initial reference for this type of crash.

RE: Firefox constantly crashes on Vista

Does anyone else have the problem of the screen jumping up and down when you
use Firefox on Vista?? It is probably the most annoying thing in the world
and I have no idea how to fix it.

I have a different problem with Firefox. When I go to:

http://www.jennycoverack.co.uk/

using IE7 I do in fact see Jenny Coverack's Home Page

But when I go to:

http://www.jennycoverack.co.uk/

using Firefox I see that address correctly in the address bar but the page I
see is headed:

Welkom bij De Roode Advies & Consultancy

and when I click on ITS Home page I get "page not found".

As Jenny's webmaster I find this disconcerting.
