Vista - New nvidia driver 158.18 problem

This is just a data point that all is not perfect.

I downloaded and installed the new nvidia driver for my 7950GT. I did a
spot check of various programs to see if there were any changes. The
Mahjong Titans game had problems. I then reversed my update and all was OK.
If one program has a problem, then there could be others.

No Problems Here With The New NVIDIA Driver, Just FYI.

problem in Hold'em.

I tried to find a driver update for my Laptop 7950 GTX but there was no
mention of this card - closest I could find was a mention of 7950 GT. Any
pointers to a driver update for this card?

I was very confused trying to find any driver info that I could understand
at all.

You have to get the laptop drivers from the laptop maker.

Upgraded to the new 158.18 drivers and lost all the AERO features.
Re-installed the driver from the video card maker. AERO features returned.
7600GS card.

Additional information:

The monitor is a 20" Wide Screen set at 1680x1050 and 32 bit color.

When the problem occured with Mahjong Titans the display seemed magnified
and not smooth. Similar to an old VGA resolution. The text was scewed.
The 7950GT has 512mb of memory so I can't imagine that it ran out of memory.
It does appear that the system reduced the monitor resolution for the game.

Just goes to show it's sometimes best to not try & fix something that
