Flash Player

i visited some site the other day only to find that i did not have a flash
player, so i tryed to download it from adobe but IE7 will let it happen and
when it says it has installed i restart it but it still does not work, what
is going on here.

Luckily there is a solution.
Go here http://www.softwarepatch.com/network...nload-security
and download the flash standalone installer.
Execute it after finishing the download and install flash player 9.00.45
That should do it (at least did it for me)

The posted link shows the version as 9.0.28.0 the prior version.
Web site not updated ?

Yes, I know that.
But once you download that file it turns out to be 9.0.45 once it is
installed.

did this but still didn't work and went to adobe againand it says that IE7
has blocked activx from being used in an unsafe way, unway over this??
