| | Re: Remote Desktop TO Windows XP Professional FROM Windows Vista Bummer, The only machine I had to use regedit was this new Vista machine at home. I agree about the print function - I use the Remote Desktop every night to connect to my office and always printing out stuff here at home from the office. I ran into this when I switch out the old printer which was using LPT1 to this new printer which is connected via USB. Only other thing I can think of is to make sure all the printer drivers are installed on the remote computer also. Good Luck on getting it to work.
