| | Re: Help with installing Vista You can switch graphics cards for the installation and then switch the cards back again to see how that goes. I suggest you make sure that your BIOS is up to date as well. Several other issues can cause installation problems, such as memory. I have a combination of BIOS and memory such that I can run XP x86 on a full 4GB of ram but cannot run Vista x64 or XP Pro x64 on any more than 3GB. Just the reverse of what you might expect, but it is a BIOS issue. Strange issues do arise. You might also post to the microsoft.public.windows.vista.installation_setup newsgroup where there are a number of real installation gurus who really know this stuff.
