Shortcuts

How does one create a desktop shortcut in Vista? e.g. I would like to create
a shortcut to open the broadband connection (DSL) to the Internet instead of
clicking START > Connect to...?
Thanks.

Control Panel|NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER
Click the "manage network connections" link
Right-click on the connection desired and click "create shortcut"

An error may appear saying that a SC cannot be created there, do you
want it on the Desktop.
Click YES or OK. Copy or move that shortcut from the Desktop to
another folder if desired.

RE: Shortcuts

go to Start, go to your ISP connection name, right click on it, and then a
sub-menu with "send to", then "shortcut to desktop"
