Internet Explorer Colors different in Vista and XP

I have recently installed Windows Vista Ultimate edition.
I have few things that bother me, but the most obvious one is color
difference between Windows XP and Windows Vista.
I have a forum site which I visit every day and under Windows Vista it looks
different.
The site display forum messages, each message has a grey background. Between
the end of one thread and the begining of another there is a small gap which
help distinct threads from one another.
Under Windows XP I can see the background of the messages and under Vista it
show in a very very very light grey.

I have another computer with Windows XP SP2 and Internet Exolorer 7 and it
display this site as it should.

This issue affecting other other application, not just Internet Explorer.
Even when I view images with other applications they look different from
Windows XP.

Does any one else have the same issue?
Can anyone help me fix this problem?

RE: Internet Explorer Colors different in Vista and XP

Please Note:
Images does not look all different.
Only images which have big sections of light grey (such as "WhiteSmoke")
they seem like white.

Thank you,
Ido.

Check out the setttings for your graphics in the Vista machine. It is very
rare for two different setups to have identical colour / hue / saturation /
contrast rendition at the best of times.

Re: Internet Explorer Colors different in Vista and XP

Dear Rob,

It does not look like I have different settings.
But I will give it a shot if you explain to me how to change those settings.

I have also read that there is a new Windows Color System in Windows Vista.
I guess it might have something to do with my colors problems.
The thing is that when I try to change settings in the Color Management
windows it does not seem to affect anything.

Thank you,
Ido.
