| | BBC ticker not updating Hello, I've just added the BBC ticker program to the Windows Defender list not to scan but it still isn't updating. It's not updated the news since 18th April. I've right-clicked on it to select to update but nothing happens. I know it works on a Windows XP machine. Has anyone else experience problems with BBC ticker on a Vista computer? Kol |

| | Re: BBC ticker not updating Kol I found your post whilst trying to cure my BBC ticker - what caught my eye was that you mentioned it not updating since 18th April. Mine was stuck at exactly the same date. BBC have combined my good "old" stand-alone ticker into their 'Desktop Alerts'. Link here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/help/4735697.stm I installed it and ticker works ok. I'm running XP but maybe it's similar and not a Vista problem at all? Hope it's of some help.
