Re: Cleartype

Vista has also included 5 new fonts made especially for Clear Type. Their
names all start with a "C" except for "Segoe UI" which is the font used
throughout the Vista interface. They are as follows:
Constantia
Cambria
Corbel
Calibri
Candara
Consolas
I like the font Segoe UI...it's very easy to read.

If anyone experienced what i described above, I did finally find the
cause. My monitor is a 20.1 inch LCD. When I installed Vista it
correctly set my font dpi at 120. After "noodling" around in the
settings I changed the font dpi 96. changing the font to this size
cleared up the fuzzy type issue. It also cleared up a problem with the
windows in all programs (except IE7) not resizing properly when switched
from normal to maximize. I did file a bug report with MS.
