Re: Cleartype

Control Panel>Personalization>Visual Appearance>Open classic appearance
properties>Advanced>Effects
But I'm pretty sure it's on by default.

Is there a way to adjust the cleartype - because the only fonts that
aren't fuzzy are my desktop icon labels

I finally got the fuzzy fonts removed by going to the basic setting. I
guess that the driver for my card isn't quite ready for prime-time, as
it were

Re: Cleartype

it might be fuzzy for you because i think it is for everyone and then they
get used to it being better looking then jaggy text.

I am thinking that it may be a combination of the monitor and video card
drivers not working right in this beta release. As I mentioned earlier,
when I changed to Windows Basic - the fonts are sharper and the windows
fit on the screen properly when expanded to full size (previously, the
windows would expand off the the screen to the point I couldn't see the
control buttons.)
