Vista - Adobe Photoshop elements 5

hi, does adobe photoshop elements 5 work on Vista Home Premium? I would like
to know before i buy it incase its not compatible,

it doesnt tell you that when you install it, it tells you you must download
an update for it to work with vista!!! lol

But it does! and here is the even more funny part... I found out this
because someone had
photoshop elements (preinstalled) with a new preloaded with vista sony
vaio...

the preinstalled is not totally correct. they have an icon there that when
you press it,
it starts the installation, but elements WAS bundled with the vista
laptop...

IF you had no internet connection then you could not get the update...

THIS IS A MESS!!!!!
