Vista - Copy and Paste

Hello All

I have a new computer running Vista. I am having problems when trying to
copy and paste from a document in one program to another.

I can copy from and paste within a MS Works Document but I cannot copy from
a Works Document to for example my HTML Editor (Dreamweaver MX).

The copy, paste, cut options are available but nothing happens when I try to
paste the text to a document.

Any ideas?

Can you copy and paste from other sources into those applications OK? Like
say Works -> Notepad -> Notepad -> Dreamweaver.

Hello Paul, Thanks for your reply.
This has been driving mad today!

If I type a line into Notepad I can then copy and paste it into Dreamweaver.
If I type a line into a DW HTML page I can copy and paste it into Notepad
If I type a line Into MS Works Word I can copy and paste it into Notepad
But;
If I type a line into MS Works Word I cannot copy and paste it into
Dreamweaver

So only copy and paste from MS Word to Dreamweaver is not working?

As you have discovered the copy/paste does not work will all
applications.
