Is my software compatible

Does anyone know where I can find out if my current software is compatible
with Windows Vista? (Microsoft Office 2003, ACT!2006, etc.) If it's not, do
I have to purchase all new software or is there an upgrade that I can
download??

Thanks!

If you already have those installed and running on a machine with XP
SP2, then you can download the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor and it will
report any known potential incompatibilities.

More info on the upgrade advisor can be found at
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pro...deadvisor.mspx.
You can download the upgrade advisor from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...9-3FFC194924F8.

I'm positive Office 2003 is but don't know about ACT!2006 cause I don't
have it installed.

Your best strategy for determining compatibility, besides using the Upgrade
Advisor that Tom mentioned, is to visit the website for any program that
will be used in Vista and check for Vista compatibility and support.

I do know that Office 2003 is compatible, but not sure about ACT!2006.

The ultimate strategy for determining an OS compatibility is to
install the program in question, with administrative rights, and to
check whether and how it runs.
