Vista - Symantec Antivirus Corporate 10.1 won't install

Has anyone tried to install symantec antivirus corporate 10.1 on vista build
5384 and get it working? I sent out a remote client install from the server
and it started to install fine but then vista came up saying the drivers were
block and there is currently no solution for it. Has any gotten this
installed on vista, because i can't seem to get it to install and function.
The program seems to be installed but vista is blocking it and the auto
protection is disabled. Any solutions??

ok before anyone says something and gets all mad at me. i just want to say it
wasn't my fault. The posting told me there was an error and to try again and
i did three times and same result. i didn't know that it posted my question
the first time. if i knew that, i would have only done it once. i did not
intend to post it three times to get attention. sorry!
i guess the newsgroup is runing on vista also.

Currently, Symantec products (at least their AV software, not sure about the
other stuff) are not compatable with Vista. You will need to wait for them
to release a new version. In the meantime, if you are stuck for anti-virus
software, you might try Avast which is free or etrust which is free for one
year for Vista beta testers.

SAV_Corporate_Edition_10.0.1.628 (Win Vista) is the only version compatible
with Vista at this time. There is no 64 bit version yet. It was released on
or about 5/30.

Version 10.0.2 is compatible, Symantec is also running a beta program for
legitimate customers running Windows Vista.

I downloaded the Corp vista version from Symantec and it appears to have
installed just fine. Before you go to the Symantec vista site to get it,
make sure you have your Corp license number handy.

BTW, the one I downloaded is version 10.0.1.628

our Corp license is for Version 10.
