Changed the location of my Desktop folder to my D Drive, oops

I was trying to move the my documents folder to my Data Drive (D
I think I changed the location of the Desktop folder to be D:\
When I click on properties of D:\ and try and change the it back to
C:\Users\Rob Laptop\Desktop by pressing "Restore Default" I firstly get a
warning screen saying
"Do you want to move all of the files from the old location to the new
location.....etc."

When I say yes I get the following error. "Failed to build ther list of
regular subfolders under "D:\System Volume Information" Access is denied."

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to rectify this and allow me to
have a normally functioning Desktop Folder in my Rob Laptop folder on my
desktop.

Thanks
Rob

when you get:
"Do you want to move all of the files from the old location to the new
location.....etc."

have you tried hitting "NO". by answering "yes" it is trying to move the
entire content of your D:\ drive to C:\Users\Rob Laptop\Desktop
