| | Rollback to XP possible? I installed Vista Home Premium as an upgrade to XP Pro. It saved my XP installation as Windows.old. Is there a way to uninstall Vista and rollback to my previous installation of Pro? TIA, Barry |

Are there some issues that might be solved if you would post them to these newsgroups? |

| | Re: Rollback to XP possible? Not with Vista Home. You would need a reformat and a clean install. I would back up files and other things that you want to have installed back on XP -- Peter Please Reply to Newsgroup for the benefit of others Requests for assistance by email can not and will not be acknowledged. That is, from scratch on a reformatted harddrive. Upgrading is often accompanied by 'issues' which clean installing precludes. Just an idea. Have a look here for instructions on clean installing with the upgrade media: [How to Clean Install Windows Vista with Upgrade Media - Winsupersite ] http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase...rade_clean.asp Post more questions on this newsgroup for info on the process.
