| | Vista Ultimate high CPU utilization problem found Just figured to throw into the general knowledge base. I just solved a high CPU utilization problem in vista ultimate for one of my artists. Problem: Vista Ultimate CPU is showing constant high usage that is unattributed to any process other than system idle. Performance of the box in After FX is consistent with a constant 40-60% overhead (not attributed to a proc other than idle). Solution: after review the resource monitor and task manager i saw alot of disk thrashing and RAM use by adobe version cue. I killed the process and disabled it. The box now runs like a normal sane machine. hope this helps someone. |

If you can get it to install. I tried for 3 days to get CS3 to install on 3 different machines, but no joy. It's gone back, and I've got my money back. > > > <dyewell@gmail.com> wrote in message > news:1177708056.771255.52440@r35g2000prh.googlegroups.com... >> Just figured to throw into the general knowledge base. >> >> I just solved a high CPU utilization problem in vista ultimate for one >> of my artists. >> >> Problem: Vista Ultimate CPU is showing constant high usage that is >> unattributed to any process other than system idle.
