people paying top dollar to AVOID vista

Lol stories like these are creepy....

people are paying whatever it takes to get new comptuers with the last
copies of XP around...

I wont say a price, but some people are selling computers with XP on them
for multiple times
the cost XP nomally costs!

The prices are going up for this classic gem,
because the alternative is getting vista....

HA! And we all know what that means... HEY! No we dont! Some actually like
the creepy crawler.

Guys its slow... its very slow... its unstable, it acts funny, it behaves
strange...

Yesterday I got white screen all over the desktop shading everything saying
MICROSOFT WINDOWS IS NOT RESPONDING AND MUST CLOSE! lol.... the thing is
that that white sceen that shades normally is for applications, not for all
of windows!

Ive been hacking at the services trying to streamline the darn thing so it
will work.. its like putting a rino on diet...
it just doesnt work guys!

I see it in the near future..sealed copies of XP pro selling on ebay for
2000 -3000 dollars...

PEOPLE ARE DEMANDING XP, and are frustrated with vista!

Its true, and its happening.... and I told you so!

Hmmm, I have an extra copy of XP Pro. I guess I'll wait about a year and
then cash in.

Re: people paying top dollar to AVOID vista

Pee nuts,

Yes there is a connection, dumbbell...

first Vista acts like a horse that's been dead for a week,

then I try to rectify the monstrosity by making it liter..(lighter)

I know what I am doing..

I wish I could say the same for the guys that built the darn thing!

Obviously the two can be related. But Vista is slow out of the box.
As for unstable, acts funny, behaves strange, that says diddly.
I haven't experienced any instability other than the 1st 2 weeks. M$ worked out
those bugs with fixes.

Though it still wanders off in [not responding], and I can make that happen at
will. Had to really be beating on XP to get that happen. I can get it to happen
while writing this. But it eventually catches up and recovers. It just takes
awhile = SLOW to respond.

Re: people paying top dollar to AVOID vista

They don't have to pay top dollar.. both Dell and HP produce some good value
business boxes supplied with XP SP2..

Exactly the same here. Vista is fast as lightening, and I'm not even
using latest hardware (P4 @ 3giga, 1GB RAM, nVidia GeForce7). I think
most of these people moaning about Vista have never used it, or they
are using pirated versions (i.e. ripped off old beta releases) and are
only here for the troll.
