Hibernate

I have read every article at least twice and tried every suggestion I've
been given - all to no avail. I am not able to enable the missing Hibernate
feature. A couple of the articles state that the feature make have been
removed during a Disk Clean-Up. How can I restore the feature or download a
new one?? There must be a fix or repair for this problem, right? All
suggestions appreciated.

Re: Hibernate

If it's not available then why are there many articles about it in Help and
Support from Microsoft about how to resolve the problem?? My problem is that
Command Prompt says it's available but I am unable to enable it. The article
you referred me to tells how to resolve it, but none of these things work.

Re: Hibernate

I think I may have found my answer! In the Advanced power settings, I
disabled the Hybrid Sleep and Sleep - then I could enable Hibernate - and
it appeared on the Task Menu!!

Dude! The title of that article is a DESCRIPTION of the problem the article
is meant to SOLVE.
It's not a DECLARATION that Hibernate is not avaialable. Reading past the
headline would tell you that.
