Continuous reboot

I have a problem with vista Business on a Dell Latitude notebook.
At startup, after the windows bar is correctly displayed, a command prompt
pops up with lines running, then the systems reboots.
It's not possible to start it in safe mode, I could only access the command
prompt from Vista CD Recovery Tools.
Can someone help me?
Thank you
