| | Vista's Firewall & Parental Control When I configure Vista's firewall: "Outbound connections that do not match a rule are blocked" and have Parental Controls set to "Block some websites or content" and "Block web content automatically (any content level above "none")", Parental Controls blocks access to ALL websites. Note that my browser is allowed to make the connection ... it is the individual website that is being blocked by Parental Controls. Note also, that there is a check box in Parental Controls labeled "Only allow websites which are on the allow list" - this box is NOT checked. If I reset Vista's firewall to "Outbound connections that do not match a rule are allowed" OR disable Parental Control web filtering, the problem goes away. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |
