Vista - slow gaming..

I mostly play Grand theft auto sanandreas, need for speed most wanted and
halo. But after upgrading to vista GTA and NFS both lag and halo's sound is
sort of choppy. Can anyone help me fix this?

You might try checking the Vista Games groups......or see if the game
distributors have any patches for Vista.

May I ask why you decided to upgrade to Vista, especially if your a PC
gamer? Any research I have done on gaming on a Vista machine at this
time shows that XP is by far less troublesome and faster (for games
designed to run on XP not Vista). You really can't expect a game to run
flawless on an OS that wasn't even released when the game was
developed can you? Those games were designed for XP not Vista.

I upgraded for the new security and the version of xp that came with my
computer for some reason kept saying that I was a victim of software
counterfiting so instead of buying xp i baight vista because they were
basicly the same price. I never thought about what my gaming would be like
at the time.

What spec is your machine, I have both games installed and running perfectly
on Vista Ultimate 32bit...here's my specs

there you have it mate...not enough RAM for a start and TBH you need an
upgrade on your system
