Windows Security Alerts Issue?

Hello,

I turned off 'User Account Control' to prevent Vista from constantly
dimming out my screen and asking me to confirm what I want to do. Now,
every time I boot Vista I get the Windows Security Alert, in the system
tray, alerting me that the User Account Control is disabled. I cannot
seem to win.

How can I stop this alert from bugging me?

Thank you,

Steven
