Vista - HP laserjet 1020

HP laserjet 1020

For more than 3 months I have been trying to get a Vista driver for this
printer from HP. On their website they stated last week that the XP driver
should be fine, however this morning HP said the driver is not compatible
with Vista and that a driver update is ''under study'. It is an absolute
disgrace that a company like HP has such a poor practically non existing
support service.
HP actually recommended getting another Vista compatible model to replace my
4 months old laserjet......
E-mailing HP produced no results whatsoever.
I hereby wish to warn other potential buyers of this complete lack of HP
support

I have the same printer.
I can't find where HP says the driver is "under study".

This is what I found:

"Currently, there is no Windows Vista driver available for your HP product.
Therefore your product will not work with Windows Vista at this time.

HP is currently working to make the HP driver solution for your product
available as soon as possible."

I did the same thing than you. Actually, I sent an email to the support service of HP and I told them that I would never buy an HP product again.
