Remote Desktop Won't connect

I had a power failure while connected to a remote machine. Now when I try to
connect TS tells me I already have a connection to the console on the
machine. How do I kill the session?

Re: Remote Desktop Won't connect

Hi,

Use you can use the Terminal Services Manager MMC Console to see open TS
sessions (and reset/kill the ones you don't want used). The TS Manager MMC
Console is part of adminpak.msi (you can download this from the Microsoft
website), or can be found on a Windows Server 2003 installation CD.

Cheers
Ken

Re: Remote Desktop Won't connect

Thanks Ken, but the TS manager wants to connect to a terminal server and I
don't have one running. I'm using remote desktop in Vista to connect to
another PC not a terminal server. Any other ideas? There must be a file or
reg entry that is telling the OS there is an open connection.
