radio in wmp 11

we have radiobroadcasting in our city / local network
but there is a trouble -- when radiostations playing on 8000 port -
everything is perfect, but other radiostations have port 9000 and wmp 11
won't play them (but i opened port 9000 on firewall and on tab security in
wmp 11)
HELP!)

system is codec-updated 3.01 Klite

this trouble in XP too

i want to listen in wmp 11 -- winamp plays all radiobroadcasting stations
perfect
any solves?

for example :

http://radio.domain.city.net:9000/radio3.mp3 - it is not playing
#EXTINF:-1,Radio Studio

http://radio.domain.city.net:8000/radio4.mp3 - it playing
#EXTINF:-1,Radio Sputnik

thanks before...

Re: radio in wmp 11

There's not really any specific data here.

K-Lite is a really really horrible collection. It should be completely
extraneous to what you are attempting to do here, so its reference in this
situation only serves to make the systems in question less stable.

If you're trying to use Shoutcast here, WMP has very very basic Shoutcast
support. If it doesn't work on a system that has *not* been polluted with
K-Lite, then it's entirely possible that WMP only supports Shoutcast on a
limited set of ports. (I don't know -- you didn't provide valid links
below, so I couldn't double-check it on my working system.) That should be
relatively easy to work around, though...
