| | UAC suggestion...PLEASE VOTE! While I like the uac feature, is there not some way that once a program has been allowed to run, Vista can remember that selection, and not ask permission again? An example is the eTrust dashboard. Every time I log onto my account, it asks permission to run. Is this not redundant? ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. | | Re: UAC suggestion...PLEASE VOTE! Most of the anti-virus and a few other programs will be loaded as services in the final version, making it less of an issue. Also, UAC will be smarter in final versions. I believe a feature like you are suggestion has already been mentioned being in the works. -- --------------------------------------------------------------- Dustin Harper Vista Help and Knowledge Base: http://www.vistarip.com "Fraser" <Fraser@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E3654D19-9827-4524-933C-D04BF9BD6A47@microsoft.com... > While I like the uac feature, is there not some way that once a program > has > been allowed to run, Vista can remember that selection, and not ask > permission again?
