| | Replace IE7 with IE6? Don't like IE7, not nearly as good and interface as IE6. Is there a way to uninstall IE7 from Vista and replace with IE6? |

| | Re: Replace IE7 with IE6? Hi Jim, If you have Vista as your Operating System, IE7 is the only Microsoft Browser that you can use. You can install other third-party browsers such as Firefox, however, and use IE7 only when you have to, such as the times that you need to download updates from the Microsoft website. Oh, one other thing to be pointed out. <snipped> One more note - VPC 2004 doesn’t run on Windows Vista, but this image will work fine with VPC 2007, which is in beta now. You can get this free beta via Connect. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pro...c/default.mspx |

Maybe, I should have done a <copied> instead of a <snipped> from another source. ![]() |

IE7 is part of the OS. It's not a separate utility that can be removed. Use Firefox for browsing if you dont like IE7. You'll really like Firefox after a few days. -- http://www.bootdisk.com/ |
